We have been made aware of problems patients are having getting their prescription medication from Lloyds Pharmacy for any prescription we send to them using the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS).
After discussions with Lloyds Pharmacy we have agreed to suspend all EPS activity with Lloyds.
You therefore now have 2 choices to obtain your medication.
- Your prescription can still be sent using EPS but you will need to tell us an alternative pharmacy you wish the prescription to be sent to. This alternative will be the pharmacy you either pick your medication up from or have it delivered from instead of Lloyds. [this is our preferred option]
- You can choose to have a paper prescription which you will then have to collect from the surgery and take to a pharmacy of your choice.
If you are affected by this please be advised that we do not have capacity within the surgery to deal with any other requests relating to this other than the 2 choices given above.
We will review this situation with Lloyds on an on-going basis and update you if and when things change.
